In the third quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications in Oceania showed varied performance across downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at 47.3K in late September. Active users fluctuated but ended strong, increasing from 1.6M to 1.7M by the end of the quarter.

Google Maps experienced stable weekly downloads, with a slight dip in August but recovering to 26.9K by the end of September. Active users remained robust, growing steadily to 14.7M.

Google Earth saw a gradual increase in downloads, culminating at 15.4K at the quarter's close. Active users, however, declined from 192.5K to 148K over the same period.

Polarsteps Travel had a moderate download trend, finishing at 5.1K. Active user numbers showed positive growth, reaching 83.6K by September's end.

MapXplorer: Navigation, Radar experienced a peak in downloads at 5.5K mid-September, while active users increased to 11.6K by the end of the quarter. The app also generated a consistent weekly revenue, averaging around $5.5K.
